Avast Free Webshield + Online Armor Webshield - Do I Need Both On?

Hi… I have been using Avast Free + Online Armor for quite some time… a quick question, do I need both Avast and OA’s webshields on at the same time?
Also, what exclusions should I put in Avast and OA??

I’m not an Online Armour user, but I rather doubt that it is doing the same things as the avast Web Shield.

Can it replace my current antivirus software?

No. Online Armor complements Emsisoft Anti-Malware with a bullet proof Firewall - perfect for overall protection. Online Armor’s HIPS component locks your operating system and lets only known safe programs and data pass through.

If you only have the Emsisoft Online Armor Firewall (no emisoft antivirus/malware modules) there shouldn’t be a need to exclude anything - I tend not to enter pre-emptive exclusions.
