the OP doesn’t ask Avast to include a firewall in the free version (yeah, the thread title is misleading), he’s just asking if he can use such or such firewall together with avast free.

I started to use private firewall a few months ago and everything seems fine so far… I used to have PC Tools Personal free firewall but suddendly I started to have problems with sandboxie and droped it… Private Firewall is fine, and does not slow your PC…rm
