I have upgrated to version 7.38.1.0 and the problem persits ! :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

I’m still chugging along on Rev 7.34.4.0 my update defeat is working flawlessly.

This issue has resolved on my computer, can now get Outlook emails with Nord VPN running. It may have been because I finally upgraded to Windows 11, but around the same time both Nord and Avast issued updates so am not sure what corrected the error.

what nord and avast versions are you running?

Other than User1906 has anyone been able to run Nord VPN 7.39 with Avast and have the 2 work together like they used to?

Now running NORD version 7.39.1.0 dated 26 April
AVAST version 25.4.10068.2727 dated 30 April
Windows 11 26100.3915 installed 27 April

UPDATE…

Well I bit the bullet and upgraded to Nord VPN 7.39

  1. I made a restore point
  2. I updated Avast to the latest version.
  3. Rebooted
  4. Checked email functionality (all good)
  5. Uninstalled Nord VPN
  6. Rebooted
  7. Checked email functionality (all good)
  8. used the link Nord supplied to install 7.39 ( https://downloads.nordcdn.com/apps/windows/NordVPN/7.39.1.0/NordVPNInstall.exe )
  9. Rebooted
  10. Checked email functionality (all good)

It looks like NORD fixed their problem. It would have been nice if they had reached out to me and anyone else with the issue and a ticket to say they had fixed their software.

OH well.
