Avast freeware uninstall

I have enjoyed the Avast software for a couple of years. I now need to uninstall the program and can find no instruction or method to do so. It does not appear in my Add/Remove programs list, at least not as an Avast program. can anyone help please! hipirn

Odd. Is it in an “Alwil” folder, maybe?

It is strange that it does not appear in add/remove programs. Did you try to manually delete it at one time?
