Avast Gadget Giving Unsecured Warning

At boot up Avast Gadget shows I am unsecured, this last about 3 seconds and then it shows me a secured. If I am fast enough to click on the “fix” I get a message from Avast or Windows 7 indicating someone or something is trying to stop “Real-time Protection”. Any help for a newbie???

It just takes a little time before everything is up and running.

The avast tray icon would have a Red circle with white cross over it (unsecured), followed by a Yellow triangle with * asterisk (one or more shields not running or virus database out of date, etc. less critical).

Provided it is fine after a few seconds no real problem, this also happens on my system at times.

It’s the time that the interface takes to connect the service and the driver loaded much before to protect.

DavidR Thanks for you help!!
