Everytime i open my game (Grand Chase Online), avast gives my computer the Blue Screen of Death(BSOD). I’ve tried letting Grand Chase bypass avast! sandbox, putting avast! on silent mode, and disabling all the shields. It still gave the game BSOD. I was using the latest version of Avast! basic protection. Right now I’m using MSE to play my game, but i’m hoping to find a solution because avast! is one of the best securities out there.
There should have been some information listed on the BSOD … what was it?

Error: CRITICAL_OBJECT_TERMINATION
file path: C:\Windows\system32\ntoskrnl.exe
product: Microsoft® Windows® Operating System
company: Microsoft Corporation
description: NT Kernel & System
Bug check description: This indicates that a process or thread crucial to system operation has unexpectedly exited or been terminated.
This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem.
The crash took place in the Windows kernel. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver which cannot be identified at this time.
well this is an example of what pops up. basically it’s in white letters with a blue background. my pc restarts and then a message saying “Windows has recovered from an unexpected shutdown”
It appears this is not a problem with Avast but with ntoskrnl.exe which is a core OS component.
Some malware can corrupt this executable. So, I would suggest that you first run a Boot time scan with Avast.
Let us know the results.
sorry for the extreme late response. ive been using MSE at the moment while this issue is fixed. I still got the same results after the boot scan.
