Yesterday when I clicked the Avast interface (little globe icon) I received a popup Privacy Alert! box that said something like:
quote “the site Program.Avast.com is requesting to install a tracking cookie” unquote
it also mentioned the action was not recommended because of involving privacy issues (something like that)
the name of the cookie was __utmobile
I’m wondering and the only thing I did prior to this was install Windows updates and Office 2007.
Does anyone know what this is? By the way I don’t think or say avast is installing such a cookie I’m molre incline to think it is for Microsoft install hehe. Well I know tracking cookies are not such a thread but this alert sounded like one
so I kinda like to know so I can be sure I have no bugs.
