Avast got high cpu usage

So I noticed that Avast Service is using up a lot of CPU. https://i.imgur.com/2uwWV7i.png

And it’s horrible I need to fix it. But I’m wondering how.

Both contain several solutions, that all have to do with some kind of component of Avast. And to fix it either uninstall some modules or disable the settings. Sadly, I don’t know which settings are exactly causing it. Or if I disable that setting, what the hell did I actually disable. There are some nice features but all the description says, is something simple. It is not detailed enough to understand what it does.

But that high CPU thing is very annoying, hope someone has any idea thank you!

I’m experiencing the same issue. :frowning:

It has been happening for days and has effectively made my computer unusable.

All 8 threads sit at 100% and the avast service is using around 88% CPU.

I have a fully updated Windows 10 install and the latest Avast install.
