I find that VERY unlikely situation since that most likely wasn’t actually what avast! was saying.

Either your game is Java based and avast! warned user about old version of Java or it was actually a CyberCapture warning which gets triggered on things that are so brand new (never observed by avast! lab before) that avast! blocks it and sends the file for analysis to the virus lab.

I make my own programs as well and that’s what users always experience when I release something new. Only way to avoid that is to have binaries signed by digital signature and contact avast! team to whitelist your digital signature if you regularly release new versions.
