my computer was hit with a terrible virus recently.
i thought i had it all figured out and took care of it but it came back multiple times. avast let me know there was a problem and recommended i restarted my computer and run a virus scan while i wasnt logged in.
i did that and it seemed like it was going to take a while so i went away from keyboard for about an hour. i came back to see a black screen. the computer was on though.
i tried reseting and it turns on. i can get into safemode all that.
i get to the log in screen. it logs in and instantly logs me off to the login screen again.
i tried rollling back to a previous date and it does the same thing. please help me out
Which action you’ve set to avast to do with system files when you’ve scheduled the boot time scanning?
avast does not take automated actions but ask you do what to do previously.
Any error message?
Does the logon screen appears or only a black screen?
i loads everything regularly when i get to the login scren its not the blue select a use screen. its a small screen where your type use and password. it loads makes the login noise and instantly says " logging off…" and makes the loggoff noise.
Overinstallation can solve the problem and you won’t lose your programs, settings, data, files, etc.
Just choose ‘Repair’ installation of Windows and install ‘over’ the old installation.
I am having the exact same problem. I am not sure I understand the fix. How am I supposed to access these websites to repair when I can’t log on to the computer?

…Maybe its like the error I use to have, (I think i fixed it by logging on to the other account on the computer) basicly, (and proablly) your tempary internet files are full so you can’t log on, that was my problem, so I had to go on the other account and clean the other account’s temparary internet files.
