I have a problem with avast home 4.8, it blocks most of the software, but crack and it leaves me a message: this file is infected.
rechercher ??? ???
I done what? help me please :‘( :’(

Can you say what is the infected file name, where was it found (C:\windows\system32\infected-file-name.xxx)?
What avast! version and virus database are you using? (see About dialog of avast!)

no! this software are not infected.
because I’ve worked with on another computer with another antivirus (BitDefender).
the problem may be a setup parameter avast lock and unlock for the downloads? :-\

Could you please post a link to the file you want to download…

and please use hxxp:// instead of http:// !

and that bitdefender doesn’t detect it, doesn’t mean that it is no malware :wink:

Well, you can report the detection as false positive… if it really is one then the Alwil team removes the entry from the virus database…
but if you don’t tell us what you try to download its not possible to check if it is a false positive… :-\

also you can report the file directly as false positive… see the picture…

No, only the infected ones. avast does not block files by name, but scanning them.

You’re trying to damage your computer and avast is blocking the action.

So the only thing you can do, that avast! doesn’t stop you from downloading material with malicious content, is to disable avast!..
Or, if you are sure that it is not dangerous report it as false positive…
But as it is assumedly dangerous (and probably illegal anyhow) avast will keep blocking it… :-\

adem,
without downloading the files (I don’t want to; they are too large), the indication is that this is cracked software.
Because of that you probably aren’t going to get a lot of people that actually care much about your problem.
I don’t.
I’ve never had trouble downloading software with Avast active, via rapidshare, or any other way. (Unless it was infected.)

If you allow a infected software or files on your computer its can harm and turn it into a zombie. Beware ! Avast! is trying to protect you but if you turn off Avast! and let it allow we are no responsible of program lost or other personal information.
