I,m a computer technicist for home PC and Can I get the avast!Home Edition key without E-Mail,
Becouse i hard to register many time when I get install avast!Home Edition on many PC, sometime I hard to apply for my client E-Mail !!!
If have another way to get the key other than E-Mail is better… … …

The end user should be the person to register their copy of avast and have the registration key sent to their email address. They are the ones making the declaration that they qualify for the home, non-commercial use of the avast 4 home version.

They can use the Demo key giving them 60 days unrestricted use before they need to register after that they won’t be able to download virus signature updates.

As far as I’m aware the only way to get a registration key for the Home version is to register on-line and have the key sent by email.

Please follow David’s advice. Also, wait until the delivery of the home PC to your customer to install avast! anti-virus program. This way, the home user will have the full 60 days use of the program and enough time to register.

Thanks. The only reason the registration process is there (which is, in a way, a burden for YOU and US) is that we maintain some stats (quantitave and geographical) that we use to better understand our install base structure.

Of course, there will always be people who provide false information during the registration, but it turns out that most people actually fill in correct data (at least country). :slight_smile:
