i think the problem has something to do with 3 computers hooked up on the same internet.
in the “help”, i came up with this:
If avast! does not accept the key, you probably typed it incorrectly (again, we recommend that you use the copy & paste method), or the license does not match (e.g. the license key for a workstation cannot be entered in avast! installed on a server operating system). In such a case, contact the vendor of the avast! program or ALWIL Software support.
i registered, copy&paste the registration key into the box, then it tells me the key is invalid.
Is your system date/time correct?
Are you sure you do not include the ‘last blank space’ in the paragraph while copying & pasting?
Which avast version are you trying to register (Home or Professional)?
Please, post the last 100-150 lines of avast log: C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\DATA\log\Setup.log

The log just say you’re not registering the Home version as far I can understand.
Did you try to use another email address through the SSL link page I’ve posted before?
ill install avast onto a different computer and try again. i dont have an avast icon in my toolbar like in the demo video, instead i have it on my desktop. i dont think there would be a difference, but ill try.
i am using yahoo as my e-mail, would that have an effect?
must i have admin control over the computer when i am registering? im fairly certain that i do, but not positive.
