Avast home - Windows XP - Multiple User Profiles - No Licencse Key error

Hi,

I’m a new Avast Home 4 user. I installed under my normal admin account and entered my key. Everything works fine.

I set up a new user account with administrative privelages. Log into it and I get an error on startup, No license key. I tried to enter my key and I get an invalid key message. I even re-registered and got a new key, log in with new account, same error when I try to enter the new key.
Switch back to the normal admin account and everything works fine.

I looked at the following post and tried the fix. It did not work.

What am I missing?

avast does not work well into multiply admin accounts… sorry to say, but I’ve read this before.

You can try to register in all admin accounts again, one by one.

Side note: I never recommend multiply admin accounts.

Just a side note, I did try it as a non admin account.

What precisely did you try? Add the license key? It won’t work… it shouldn’t be even asked to be added in a non admin account…
