I have noticed that avast is charging me on my old email that have no access to for years. I have requested support (which was extremely hard to do since you need to go though millions of hoops for that) in order to cancel my old subscriptions on old email. They suggested merging accounts and then making cancellation though my profile. I have fallowed all the steps, got response that it will take up to 24 hours for emails to be merged on one account and then I will be able to see orders/subscriptions on new email/profile. It’s been 4 days, nothing was done, support is almost impossible to reach. Is that a normal practice for Avast team? I will suggest everyone I know to just cancel their subscriptions if it’s not resolved since avast seems way too happy to keep my subscriptions on email that I had no access too for around 5 years and see no urgency of resolving the issue. I have paid around 700 Eur in that time without even noticing it wince I never used that email and account, which is my fault.
