avast & hotmail

My daughter has been getting a VBS Script virus/worm warning when she logs into her Hotmail email account.
I deleted any suspect emails. It still pops up a warning when she opens that webmail page. The location avast shows is in the temporary internet files. Could this just be a false warning or bad webpage script?
Thanks!!

I guess everyone knows that the Hotmail problem is due to the newest Avast virus signature data base.

I was using Hotmail just fine and going in and out of the inbox without problems.

Then as soon as the new virus database update message popped up I cannot go into the Hotmail inbox anymore with a virus warning:

VBS: Malware (script)
Virus/Worm

FileName: http://by103fd.bay103.hotmail.msn.com/cgi-bin/HoTMaiL?curmbox=00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000001&a=b935b0810c0f4a010be79d22b2502358c90378d2fcdb0d79d34ee3a2f239ec57

I am using the old standard Hotmail and using the current IE browser.

I have read the related links and will try the work around in awhile when I get the time.

Yes, there must be about seven or more different posts about it.

No need for the work around, the latest VPS update corrects it.
