avast! HTTPS scanning breaks Twitter download/signin

Particularly the “Windows” download or when you try to sign in using the buttn on that page.

If you try to download TweetDeck with HTTPS enabled, it just fails with error:

Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to downloads.tweetdeck.com. security library: improperly formatted DER-encoded message. (Error code: sec_error_bad_der)

Can someone please look into this? Thx

Is this still happening with the 2015 RC1 version ?

Windows 8.1 64bit fully updated, Mozilla Firefox 35. Haven’t tested with Firefox 36 yet…

Mine Win 8.1 64b VM + FF 35 + latest Avast! working fine :frowning: So, if you could provide us a support package it would be great (http://public.avast.com/supp/util/avastsupport.exe - i guess that you know it - just to make sure)
