Avast HTTPS scanning interfering with yahoo! image loads on Firefox, Chrome.

It’s been noted since 9/5/15 that any images loading on yahoo’s website is refusing to load. This has been traced to the HTTPS screening function in Avast! AV.

Disabling the HTTPS scanning option patches the issue but can not be considered a permanent fix for any reason.

I posted this to support two days ago, no response, not even an acknowledgement.

There are many such topics already on this, it has been acknowledged as a problem by avast and they are trying to fix it.

The disabling HTTPS is a work around not a fix.
