Avast ignoring exception

Heya,

Avast webshield has just started detecting my VPN software (Windscribe) as a botnet, I’m confident that it’s a false positive so added it to exceptions but it continually detects it anyway.
Anyone able to offer some insight or a workaround for the issue please?
