When i try to install avast i receive a error that says
Avast! installer cannot continue because the last avast! operation was not performed without restarting please reboot your computer and run the installer agian…
How do i fix this?

What antivirus did you have prior to Avast? Did you use the previous antivirus uninstaller utility/removal tool? What version of Avast are you trying to install?
Run this in safe mode avast uninstall utility. After that run this in normal mode http://rejzor.wordpress.com/avast-cleanup-tool/
Once everything has done… Download and install a fresh copy of Avast
Did you try rebooting as the error message suggests?
Actually, think it would be safer to have the copy of the avast! installation file first before removing it and then going out on the 'net to get the new one. Use another system and leave the affected system offline until the avast! install takes completely on it.
Maybe I’m reading this all wrong, but one should not venture out without protection?

Then, as Staticguy says, run Rejzor’s tool linked to above.
I have tried the uninstall utility/Cleanup in safe mode it does not work…
Also have rebooted… It just don’t work
The solution to this is using the online installer… they’re different (sometimes offline installer doesn’t work)
