i attempted to install avg but its coming up with rpc error then when i try to uninstall it it wont install and i cant get avg on my computer please help ty
You need to use AVG REMOVAL TOOL 32BIT OR 64BIT Depending which you have downloaded! Reboot. Download the latest Avast free setup file from avast web site the full version & try again. RPC Errors are caused by remains of antivirus programs references in the windows registry.
Depending what antivirus you want to use AVG Free does not have a web shield and is very bad as i had viruses get through AVG when on the web in the past even when fully updated. Ditched AVG 4 Years ago and run Avast ever since as offers much more shields and protection & antirootkit AVG Does not for free! ;D
If you had any antivirus before AVG OR AVAST. You will need to fully remove these also. Norton/Symantic & Macafee have removal tools also!
