Running windows 10 Pro.
I had an issue with updating avast.
used the uninstall utility in safe mode to uninstall avast.
when trying both the online and offline installer, they freeze upon launch.
What was the issue with updating Avast?
Old, original manufacturer’s antiviruses still installed or remnants left over? https://support.avast.com/en-ww/article/11/#artTitle
