Uninstalled Avast Free Version to get Safezone Browser off my computer. Tried to remove it without uninstalling avast but could not figure out how.
When I try to reinstall avast, avast installer keeps asking me to reboot. I have turned my computer off twice so far. What’s the deal?

You didn’t say, but if you are running Windows 10, merely shutting down the system does not amount to a restart, due to how fastboot in Win10 is set up. https://duckduckgo.com/?q=fastboot+in+win10&t=ffab&ia=web
You’d actually have to do a restart to have your system shut down completely and then start again.
