Avast Internet Security 2016

I recently Installed Avast Internet Security 2016. When I checked my windows firewall, it was enabled. Is Avast supposed to leave it enabled by default, or disable it?

There is no conflict (known) between avast and the windows firewall, so it doesn’t have to be disabled.
