Avast internet security add-on not working

I have two computers, both windows 10 updated, latest google chrome version and latest avast program version however in one of my computer the addon to check safe pages doesnt work.

I go to addons in google chrome and the addon is not there, please, any solution? thank you

Check the avast components and see if it is installed.
If it is…

  • make sure Chrome is closed.
  • remove the component
  • reboot
  • install the component
  • check if it works now
