Hi! I’m programmer and now write on the Go Programming Language(Golang). The thing that by some reason any compiled exe not running while Avast! working - there is no any popups or Sandbox windows but app just stucks and do nothing. If i turn off Avast Internet Security - app runs as expected. I’ve added folders with exe files to exclusions, but it didn’t help.
What OS/SP ?
What exact version of avast ?
Any other security (related) software installed ? (or was there)
Does it make a difference if you disable deepscreen scanning ?
Have you disabled the avast shields one at a time to see which one is likely causing the problem ?
- OS: Windows 10
- Avast Internet Security: 10.4.2233
- No other security soft, just Avast
- Just tried disable DeepScreen - works ok. After enabling - does not work. As workaround i can disable it. Do you want me to send some additional details?
- No, i disabled all together. Do i need to check which one causes problem to continue investigation?

You are using a old(er) version of avast.
I suggest to perform a clean installation of the latest version and check if the problem is solved or not.

I’ve installed update in regular way, not clean installation and now it works ok, so we can close question. Thank you for your help!
Again the same issue , using latest avast version, a simple hello world compiled with Golang is deleted by avast… why does avast don’t like Golang???
