Hello!
We have a Xerox Workcentre 7835 on our network. It worked just fine until we installed AVAST! Internet Security on our Windows 7 computer. Printing works well, but network scanning does not. Staff just uninstalls AVAST! to get around the problem. In the firewall settings I have tried the following:
- Add a packet rule allowing all protocols from that IP address
- Add a packet rule allowing all protocols from the entire network
Obviously, I would ideally create a pinhole in the firewall for the device to work, but I cannot even get it to work using these methods. The log is enabled but empty. What more should I look at?
