Avast Internet Security - can I delete these folders from C drive?

I have tons of these Avast! sandbox folders using up a lot of space on my C:Drive
Am I allowed to delete all these ?

Well they do not really open up to anything?

so I did a PROPERTIES right click on one of them
… and you can see how many files it purports to contain and the size.

I also un-collapsed themall on the left for you … they just don’t open up to anything

They seem to be Chrome files which apparently you run in the sandbox. Personally I’d leave them alone
since they pose no harm.

If you think they are temporary files and want to clean them you can use Temp File Cleaner by Old Timer.

Thank you for looking into this…

I just removed Chrome and don’t use it anymore and if these are actually taking up megabytes of space on C: drive I would like to remove them … I will try your suggestion of Old timer temp file remover.

You are welcome! But you do not need to uninstall Chrome. Neither Chrome nor those files
are causing any “real” harm.

turn off avast sandbox … reboot computer
