I upgraded from Avast Pro to Avast Internet Security on July 10, 2012. I have Windows 7 Home Premium and IE 9. IE 9 now displays a message “Windows cannot display the web page” when I try to move to a new web page. In my Hotmail account, I keep getting a message at the top “Cannot connect to Hotmail at this time”. This never happened with Avast Pro. Is Avast Internet Security in conflict with some other Windows feature that is causing web pages to time out?
No, because I have AIS and it does not do what you say in in Win 7 Home Premium with IE9. I use the 32 bit IE9 because it’s faster than the 64 bit version.
Thank you for your reply. I thought that maybe Avast Internet Security was causing my system to time out when I try to connect to another web page from the current web page that I am viewing. I have to retry several times before I can open the new web page.
