Avast Internet Security - scan reports "Performance Issues"

Hi, good people. Smart-scan puts a red cross against Performance Issues, and says: “Your PC performance needs optimization”. I don’t want to allow Avast to make changes to my new Win7 system unless I know what it is doing. How can I find out what it will “optimize”, before it attempts to do it. If I click “Resolve All”, will it allow me to see things in advance?

No, the modifications will be done automatically (due to Avast be design to common users automatically).
You can disable the performance scanning: Settings > General > Smart Scan

Is this scan option only there if you’ve opted to install the CleanUp module. ???
or, is it only there if you’re using a paid version ???
It’s not in my Free version of Avast but I’m not using CleanUp.
