The auto scheduling on Avast Internet Security has stopped working. Ever since I upgraded to Windows 10, Avast has refused to auto schedule and I have to keep manually switching the scan on.
I thought that Avast was now geared up for Windows 10…obviously not.
If it keeps on, I may have to switch back to AVG which has no problems with Windows 10.

Any ideas, please, would be most helpful.

Have used Avast Free for a few years, and for the last few months Avast Internet Security.
Before Avast, used AVG Free.

Have you fully uninstall AVG Free?before install Avast!.If do pls try this:Repair Avast:

  1. Control Panel → Add/Remove programs → Avast
  2. Click on ‘Repair’.
  3. Follow instructions.
  4. Reboot.
