This may have been answered before, but I want to make sure the answer is still valid.
I just installed Avast! Internet Security on a Windows 7 Pro machine. AIS did not turn off my Windows Firewall. Should I leave the Windows Firewall on or should I turn it off? If I keep them both on, will it slow down the machine and/or will the two firewalls interfere with each other?

well i think for not having problems and interferes it would be better to deactivate windows firewall as avast firewall will do the job…it wont slow down your machine,at least you wont notice any slow down and despite the fact that windows firewall is getting along with almost every firewall(meaning that you usually wont notice any interferes),its better not having 2 or more firewalls turned on at the same time
