What happens when the trial period ends? I mean Avast Firewall can be used & only updates/upgrades will not be there or Firewall cannot be used.

It will revert to the free antivirus - but will need to be registered
They give you warnings, usually a few weeks before anything expires…To let you know ahead of time…
Cheers!!! and safe surfing!!!
You guyz did’t get. What I meant was after AIS expires can I uninstall the AV part through Add/remove & use the FW or the FW gets disabled?
Thanxx

The AIS is a suite, when it expires it all expires, so it isn’t just a case of uninstalling AV part and using the firewall as that is part and parcel of the paid suite. Not to mention the whole point of the suite is its integration and the firewall on its own wouldn’t benefit from the behavioural elements of the AV, it would be weaker.
So you can only uninstall AIS, reboot and install the free version of avast and select another firewall if you aren’t intending to renew your license.
Heyy David, you mean to say when AIS expires everything is disabled & cannot be use, right? I thought the features are not disabled but cannot be updated/upgraded.
Thanxx

Honestly I’m not sure if it is just the inability to update only, though that has been said, I have seen earlier cases of it not working at all, if that policy has changed, giving the opportunity to update your license.
But effectively it can’t be updated and an out of date security application is essentially worthless. When to get the best out of the firewall it needs to be integrated with the AV and this can’t be updated the worth of the firewall as a stand alone is depreciated.
Ok David, got it. Thanxx for the info & help frenz.
