Avast IS 2015's Software Updater won't update Skype/Java Runtime 8 etc

My Avaast IS 2015 Gives a generic error when trying to update Adobe Air/Shockwave, Skype or Java runtime environment 8.
It won’t let me click on the View Log button. I made a screenshot to show what it does tell me. I have tried searching the forum
to see if there’s any other references, but I wasn’t able to locate anything.

Has anyone else seen this?

Hi I would recommend that you reset the database

Click Settings then click Reset database

Thank you. It let me update Skype. I’ll have to wait and see about the Adobe programmes and Java.
