Avast IS 6.0 BSOD on install.

I’m having problems on installing avast IS 6 on this computer. Previously I’m using Norton IS 2011 trial, and I’ve uninstalled it and cleaned using the removal tool.

The other software I installed is Zemana Antilogger.

The problems now like this

  • after i successfully installed Avast IS, the realtime shield and firewall refused to start, so I thought it’s incompatibility with Zemana Antilogger, so I uninstalled both Zemana and Avast IS.
  • After few restart, I tried to install Avast IS 6, then nearing completion, I got BSOD.
  • Both Norton and Zemana were uninstalled but I unable to install Avast IS 6.0 since it will end up BSOD when nearing completion of setup.

Any helps?

Hi, this is sandboxie and avast conflict; you can get this bsod only when you finish avast installation - it’s already fixed. You can uninstall sandboxie, reinstall avast and then install sandboxie.

Edit: After uninstalled sandboxie, the installations went fine and the Avast IS works properly now, thanks a lot :slight_smile:
