??? Just installed this on my Motorola Atrix and the first scan I perform shows Avast itself as a PUP! it wants to uninstall AVAST? Surely some mistake?

this is a false positive. It will be fixed ASAP.
If you don’t want to wait till the automatic update kicks in, you can manually update the virus definitions already.
