Hi,
I had been using 5.1.874 without any issues at all.Upgraded to 6.0.
1203 and lot of annoying actions. I was wondering why two applications (FSCAPTURE, SCNTILLA READER) don’t start.
I disabled AVAST and they start and work fine.THe zip file is attached.
Wonder why AVAST wants to take users by surprise… Should I revert back to 5.1.874
??

I suggest you do a clean installation, of the newest version of avast and see if that helps.
download the newest version of avast from avast.com
uninstall the version you using now or use the uninstall tool.
reboot your system
do a registry clean with cclener to clean any left over files of avast.
install the new version you downloaded from avast.com
registry the program.

Thanks for the reply.I have installed as per the procedure above , using the AVAST clean tool
etc.Why does not AVAST allow only certain applications.That needs to be investigated. Goodluck!
