Avast is blocking all downloads on Opera ... why?

Fed up with this. I cannot download anything whilst using Opera but if I switch to Firefox there’s not a problem. Why is Avast blocking downloads in Opera? It’s a right pain in the ass.

Always get this message … “Interrupted: Virus scan failed”

Maybe time to switch to another AV. What’s ironic is that Avast will not even allow me to download their own uninstaller in the Opera browser … haha.

If FF works for you, use it. I doubt anyone will troubleshoot a way outdated version of Opera. :wink:
