Avast is blocking emailsr

Good morning

avast blocks my incoming and outgoing emails without warning.
Only my email account hosted at free.fr is blocked (yahoo accounts or other are ok)

If I deactivate the avast agents, the emails arrive and as soon as I reactivate avast, they are blocked.

I only enabled file agent and web agent

Could you please help me to solve the problem?

Uninstall email shield , its not needed.

By blocking, are you getting any Avast Alert or Error message ?
Is this is a webmail account, do you only use your browser to access/view it (not an email client to download) ?

That’s your personal choice and not necessarily the choice of many other users.

I also suspect that it may be the Web Shield (not the Mail Shield) that may be blocking, but that requires confirmation/input from the OP

No alert, no message. I only see no mail incoming out outgoing.

The problem occurs with Thunderbird email client. With my webmail I do’t have any problem.

Sorry to all : I didn’t see that there was an email service running in avast. (because of the new interface, It was “hidden” in the “privacy” panel.

When I deactivate email protection in avast, my problem does not occur…

I use Thunderbird as my default email client, but I don’t use it to collect my gmail emails as it has to be configured to do that.
