I use Adobe AIR based “Juicebox Builder Lite” to create photo galleries for the web. Recently it stopped working. I find that if I temporarily disable Avast Internet Security the app works fine. I have not been able to figure out what part of Avast is blocking this program or how to get it to allow the program to run. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Have you tried adding an exclusion for the program in Avast settings?

I excluded both Juicebox Builder and Adobe Air. The program still will not run when Avast is enabled. I disabled each shield individually and found that it is the Ransomware shield that is causing the problem. There does not seem to be any exclusion option for that one.
