Avast is crashing my internet

My internet access has been dropping for about a month now, without rhyme or reason. It’s been happening on both my desktop and laptop but my ipad/iphone work fine. When it happens, it will happen at different times on both the laptop and desktop so I know it’s not tied to the router. I also tried the ping test and it’s always my access to my router, which is still working fine when I look at the lights.
I assume that it had to be either a Windows update or Avast but I surmise it is Avast that keeps crashing my internet. Just now, I couldn’t even connect to the internet unless it was turned off. If I turn it off, I have no problems.

If I start downloading a large file or torrenting, it will almost immediately crash.

Yes

And any previous used AV is removed according to vendors instructions / removal tool ?

I’ve only ever used Avast. Been using it for years.

How long does it usually take to get a response from support?

Clean Install of Avast:

If you need additional help with the Clean Install, watch this:

And you’re sure that will work?

If there aren’t any remains from prior AV’s, it would be the next thing I’d be doing if that was my computer.
