avast! is destrying everything how do i turn it of whitout uninstalling it?
the virus-scan part of avast is good but the firewall/blocker is destroying my computer and I cant use it? how do i turn of avast! to only start it when i want to scan?
avast! doesn’t contain a firewall, and, of course, it shouldn’t “destroy” anything.
So, I suggest that you describe your problems more in detail - we might be able to say more then.
stekis, may be you are speaking about avast!'s providers - Network Shield or Web Shield?
Then you can just turn them off.
