When running WiFi Inspector, Avast crashes and shows a massage stating Avast is down. When I attempt to restart a message pops up stating another program is trying to stop Avast.
- Which Avast…? (Free/Pro/IS/Premier)
- Which version…?
- OS…? (32/64 Bit…? - which SP/Build…?)
- Other security related software installed…?
- Which AV(s) did you use before Avast…?
Avast Free version 18.4.2338 on Windows 10 (64 bit) build 17134. I also have Malwarebytes installed.
Prior to Avast I’ve used McAfee, Norton, and AVG, but for the past several years I’ve only used Avast.
Regarding Avast & Malwarebytes, see: https://forums.malwarebytes.com/topic/200324-exclusions-for-avast-users/
I tried adding the exclusions, Avast didn’t show me any files in the Windows\System32\Drivers folder. Still receiving ‘Avast is down’ message while running WiFi Inspector, but Avast restarts couple seconds later.
