Avast asked me to update to a new versione 7.0.1456 and after that it says that my VPS definitions and the program are not updated!!! I see a red notice “update” but I have already updatet them! What’s happening? Please help!
Did you reboot after the update?
yes of course! than I have checked manually for VPS aupdate. Avast started do update but then the process stopped suddenly! Now I have rebooted again and athe problem seems solved, but If I try to update manually the VPS avast start updating and then stops again!
There is a bug about saying the latest version is 7.0.1451 when it isn’t.

My problem is that I have installed the new version 7.0.1456 and the last VPS definition is number 120703-1. All is updated, but if I click on “update Virus definitions” in section maintence avast starts to update again. I see the yellow updatind bar proceeding, but then it stops! Why is avast trying to update if VPS definitions and program versione are already updated?
All servers haven’t been updated yet. So patience.
Ok, on another of my computers avast doesn’t update the program version to 7.0.1456. The update starts slow and then stops completely. Is also this issue related to the servers?
