Well i think its not so critical. NOD32 also isn’t recognized and its the one of the best AVs available. Something is strange about this. I saw some McAfee and Norton only text around…
ZAF setup refused to install the program 'cause I have installed eTrust and KPF on my machine. I uninnstalled them and installed ZAF, after that it showed that I have no AV on my machine, so I tried to install etrust again and ZAF detected it after I restarted my pc without any alerts ??? ???
strange indeed :
You should also be aware that ZA has been bought out by another company but I forget the name. This may have some bearing on why it does not detect avast! in the new version. >:(
I tried ZoneAlarm like a week or so ago and wasn’t super pleased with it. I read the latest build or at least the one at that time was a bit buggy. I know of one mmo game it would not let you log all the way into, Asheron’s Call 2. It’d take you to checking your account and it’d sit there checking over and over. Disable ZoneAlarm and you could get in, others have complained about it. :o
