I have a few files that causes BSoD when avast is on. I’m using Windows 8 Pro. The file starts to run in sandbox mode, and when avast stops the sandbox mode to run in normal mode, the whole computer just crashes. What should I send you (and how), so you can investigate this issue?
Hi
What version of AIS,do you use?
avast! Internet Security 2014.9.0.2013
When you get a BSOD error, find all minidumps/fulldumps file and save them as zip file, don,t you forget to rename zip archive file with unique name (your forum nickname-BSOD-Avast version) and send it to Avast team via Avast FTP you can also generate Avast support package and send it to Avast via FTP of course you have to rename Avast support package aswell,I prefer Avast support package.
How to create support package:
-Open AIS
-Help
-Feedback
-Generate Support Package
-Check all items
-Press Generate Now
-Find ZIP file and rename it with uniqe name (your forum nickname-BSOD-Avast version)
-Send Package(zip) to Avast FTP server
Avast FTP server ftp://ftp.avast.com/incoming/
FTP client: http://www.filehippo.com/download_filezilla/
I uploaded as “stevesg-BSoD-Avast IS 2014.9.0.2013.zip”. Is there a way to get the status of this problem somehow?
The best way to get any info about solving your problem is to send support ticket to Avast.
Thank you for the information and for the PM.
