I have Avast Internet Security 7. I download movies through bit torrent. Shouldn’t this be removing trackers? This is my first time using Avast and I’m worried that its scanning but not finding anything. My previous Anti-Virus found them all the time.
Is there something wrong with my set up?
The reason this came up is someone hacked my hotmail and was sending spam from it. I read on the internet to change my password and that someone could have hacked in through malware.
It lets you control who your computer "talks to" on the Internet. By selecting appropriate lists of "known bad" computers, you can block communication with advertising or spyware oriented servers, computers monitoring your p2p activities, computers which have been "hacked", even entire countries! They can't get in to your computer, and your computer won't try to send them anything either.

Yes, sorry my computer terminology isn’t very good.
Does Avast also remove Malware?
It’s just weird that when I look at my history of scans, it shows the number of files scanned, but never finds anything. Since I download movies I just want to make sure something isn’t set up incorrectly in my settings.
Well if you do not like tracking going on, use this: http://www.abine.com/dntdetail.php? DoNotTrack+ stops tracking from ad companies and social networks,
