Avast is shutting down my favorite text editor, Notetab Light, for no reason. I know Avast is doing it because when I disable sheilds the shutdowns don’t occur. When I open the program, a tab, “deep scan” appears above it. Is there a way to tell avast not to mess with the program. If I can’t solve this, I’ll replace Avast not Notetab.

I solved the problem [hopefully]: Settings/Antivirus scroll to exclusions, Select the subdirectory of the problem program. Avast will then exclude it from scanning and shield protection.
