Clean Windows 10 build. Downloaded Avast but under Windows security and maintenance it shows Avast is turned off / snoozing along with defender. I’ve tried turning Avast on but it does not. I’ve tried reinstalling the software, disabling it and turning it back on, etc, etc. Nothing seems to work. Any suggestions?
Perform a repair of avast and see if it solves the problem.
Amazingly it just turned it self on after I did an install over itself and rebooted. So strange. I’ve tried everything for days getting this program to turn on but nothing has worked until now.
