avast! IS5 BSOD ndis.sys WIN7....

I am at a total lost here ???

I was having no problems whatsoever until I installed avast! Internet Security 5 and I got a Blue Screen saying ndis.sys was the culprit. I searched all over and found the Atheros Wireless card and/or Realtek drivers may be to to blaim. So I updated both and no dice.

I am out of options and am stuck lol any advice?

yeah, atheros drivers were problematic in past… but, send the latest minidump files (\Windows\Minidump folder) to rypacek@avast.com, thanks!

okay i sent the minidumps with my username in the subject. thanks for your help

oh i forgot to mention that i recently uninstalled Norton Internet Security 2011 using Symantec’s Removal Tool…maybe that will help lol

Hi, got the dumps, will look at it shortly.
Lukas.

well i can confirm that it does work with the free version. my computer just doesn’t like something about the internet security version…or itunes for the matter lol

Just wanted to bump case someone has figured out the problem…
